World War II was the largest and deadliest conflict in human history and one of the most consequential events in the history of the world. This seminar will focus on the crucial role that America played in the war, examining the country's global strategy for fighting the war, with a special emphasis on interactions with allies and the dilemmas of fighting a war on two fronts.

Using discussion and primary documents, Professor Bruscino will facilitate the conversation, instead of lecturing. Please come ready to have an interesting discussion. Teachers will receive lunch and a Letter of Attendance at the conclusion of the seminar.
