November 19, 2024, 8:30 AM CT - 2:30 PM CT | Hosted by: Northeastern State University | Tahlequah, OK | Discussion Leader: Dan Monroe

This seminar will examine the questions and documents that established the path to United States citizenship. This will be highlighted through a study starting with the Citizenship Act of 1790, why the policies were changed in the 1920s, and again during the 1960s.

This program will be conducted as a discussion, utilizing primary documents as the only readings with Professor Monroe facilitating the conversation instead of lecturing. Registrants are highly encouraged to read all the documents in advance and come ready with questions.
