This seminar will examine the ideas, actions, and legacy of John Quincy Adams, the only president to go on to serve in Congress after his time at the White House. Adam’s long fight against slavery will be a special focus of this seminar, as well as his role in establishing the foundations for a constitutional, legal abolition of slavery.

All attendees of this free Seminar will be provided with lunch, a certificate for continuing education and digital and paper copies of the agenda and documents reader.
