This seminar will examine the origins, structure, and function of the Electoral College, as well as how it has functioned and fit within the American political system for over 200 years. Special consideration will be given to some of the 'upside down' elections in which the electoral and popular votes did not align. Reading will consist of a selection of original documents from across American history as well a more recent: analysis. 

All attendees of this free Seminar will be provided with lunch, a certificate for continuing education, and digital and paper copies of the agenda and documents reader.
