This seminar will examine the impact of slavery on the Founding, Early Republic, and up through the Civil War, with attention to its legacy into the late 19th Century. Documents will be drawn mostly from TAH’s new Slavery and Its Consequences Core Documents Collection.

All attendees of this free Seminar will be provided with lunch, a certificate for continuing education and digital and paper copies of the agenda and documents reader.
