February 17, 2020 | Hosted by: Cleveland County Schools

Study the long and short-term causes of the sectional, political, and economic divides that led to the Civil War. Using a packet of primary documents, provided in advance of the program, participants will discuss the legal, social, and political factors that, over a period of decades, drove North and South apart, and finally to arms against one another.
