n Study the legal and constitutional evolution of civil rights in America since the Civil War in this thematic Seminar. How did the legal dimensions of this issue shape society, and how did changing social views shape law and Americans’ understanding of the Constitution and its amendments? This primary source-based Seminar will help American History, Government, and Civics teachers gain a better understanding of these issues, across over a century of law and politics.
